House and pet sitter northern New Mexico late January thru April
Care for house, cat and twelve canaries in Taos New Mexico at 7600' at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Excellent skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter, hiking and biking when spring arrives. Walking distance to center of town: shopping, restaurants, library etc. Bus service in town, shuttle to Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports. Taos is a multicultural art colony, ski and tourist destination with Native American pueblo nearby. Comfortable solar adobe house has wi-fi, large flat screen tv, sauna, two bedrooms and office space. Prefer non-smoking non-drinking couple but will consider anyone with suitable experience. Includes watering and monitoring temperatures in detached greenhouse and harvesting veggies from it. Utilities paid (within reason).
