House sitter on 300 acre Gile River high desert ranch
Seeking housesitter and/or caretaker to watch over our remote, Gila River property in the SW New Mexico valley community of Redrock. In addition to house sitting, there may be some fence mending, light maintenance, security, and horse feeding. In exchange, home, internet, cable, and utilities are provided.
Caretaker must enjoy solitude and abundant bird/animal wildlife. Nearest town 45 minutes away. Nearest neighbor, 3 miles. Nearest Wal-Mart, 80 miles. The road ends at our gate. Reliable vehicle is a must.
Situated 40 miles SW of the Gila Wilderness, on the Gila River, this opportunity is for healthy people who love the outdoors and have a desire to live in a high desert riparian environment. Some mechanical and carpenter skills would be a wonderful plus.
This opportunity is available now for winter season and possibly beyond.
