Pet sitter/housesitter required for three dogs
Our travel dates are February 11th, returning on February 25th, 2013. We'd like you to arrive a day early for orientation. Your main job is taking care of 3 dogs - feeding,walking and lots of love. We live in a lovely 4 bedroom home with large principal rooms, great views, gas fireplace, great walks, a sauna and a nice front porch to watch the world go by (although you won't be using this in the winter :)) We have highspeed, wireless internet which will come in handy for watching movies as we do not have cable service (we do have a large, flat screen tv, and a collection of dvd's though). There is a plaza about half a mile away with a grocery store, hardware store and drugstore.The library is also very close by. We are an hour's drive from Toronto and about one and a half hours from Niagara Falls and the Niagara Wine Region. The Stratford Festival is 45 minutes away and the Shaw Festival, about 1 1/2h hours. We do have a professional dog sitter/walker that you could hire if you wanted to be away from the house for a day. Our dogs, a beagle, beagle/basset and mini dachshund are quiet and well mannered. The mini dachshund can't go more than 4 hours without a bathroom break. Two of them are seniors and spend a lot of time resting.They need to be walked twice a day. Well, actually they mosey along with a lot of sniffing. They are crated at night. If you would like some quiet time in a nice area of Kitchener please contact us.
