We're looking for someone to look after our two siamese cats, and the house, while we're away over Christmas. Blenheim is in the heart of Marlborough, the fantastic wine region at the top of the South Island. Good facilities in town (including a new swimming pool complex), access to the Sounds etc. Nelson & Kaikoura are about 1.5 hours drive away (in opposite directions).
The house is in the Blenheim township, located about 10 minutes walk from the Redwoodtown village (supermarket, doctors, pharmacy, bakery, 2 pubs, dairy, playgrounds etc).
Ours is a 3 bedroom home, with a modern kitchen & reasonable sized vege garden. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has 2 singles, and the third has a cot (although there's room for a airbed (which we have). Fold out sofa in the living room.
We'd like you to water the garden every so often (and help yourselves to any tomatoes & strawberries). Child-friendly home, with a large secure section that has lots of trees. BBQ and paddling pool available. The cats are friendly and fairly low maintenance.
Families welcome. No smoking in the house.
